Long before the long-awaited launch event in November, an alleged photo filtered from an engineering unit of the future Xiaomi 13 Pro is now making the rounds on multiple social media platforms. Thanks to the image, some key details about its hardware or features are confirmed.
Xiaomi 13 Pro leaked image with key details
According to what is shown in the leaked image, the device can be seen sporting a perforated screen with curved edges like the one on last year’s Xiaomi 12 Pro. According to a previous leak, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will hit the market with a 6.7-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED screen that will offer 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The image shows the “About phone” section in the device settings menu. In the image you can see the codename “Nuwa” and the model number 2210132C, both of which belong to the Xiaomi 13 Pro. An earlier report had claimed that the codename “Fuxi” belongs to the Pro model. You can tell based on the leaked image that the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro could hit the market codenamed Fuxi and Nuwa, respectively.
The 3.0 GHz octa-core processor that powers the Xiaomi 13 Pro appears to be the future, unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The device can be seen running on the Android 13 operating system under the MIUI 14 interface of the brand. Its hardware also includes 12 GB of RAM and supports expansion by up to an additional 3 GB of RAM virtually.

Other reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 13 Pro will feature a triple rear camera system. The three sensors located in the back of the device would boast of having 50 megapixels of resolution. The photographic system would be composed of a main lens, an ultra wide angle lens and a telephoto lens.
To top it off, the future Xiaomi 13 Pro is said to be able to be powered by a single-cell battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
