Nubia Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro: leaked specifications of the powerful gaming mobiles - Gadget Loh


One of the segments that have become more popular in recent years in the mobile industry is that of gaming smartphones. Because of this, various brands set fixed releases each year for their new options. recently leaked many details of the ASUS ROG Phone. But, another of the big names in the segment, Nubia, is also working on its alternative.

Recent reports revealed that Nubia is working on the Red Magic 7S series, the latest generation of its gaming phones. Previously, the Red Magic 7S (identified with the model number NX679S) and the Red Magic 7S Pro (identified with the model number NX709S) were detected in the database of the 3C certification body in China.

Now, both devices have received approval from the Asian country’s TENAA authority. Thanks to the listings in both entities, we have many key specifications of the Nubia Red Magic 7S duo.

Specifications of the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro (leaked)

Both the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro are equipped with a 6.8-inch OLED panel that offers Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels). As a reminder, the Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro supported 120Hz and 165Hz on their displays, respectively. So it’s likely that their ‘S’ editions will also offer the same refresh rate.

Red Magic 7 Pro

Internally, both models will be powered by the same octa-core processor whose CPU clocks in at 3.2 GHz. Therefore, the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro will be equipped with the latest chipset. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Both would be available in 8GB/12GB/16GB/18GB RAM options.

Continuing with its internal storage, the Red Magic 7S will be available in 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. On the other hand, the Pro variant will come with an additional storage option of up to 1TB. The duo will run the Android 12 operating system and under the Red Magic UI layer.

Red Magic 7 series

The rear area of ​​both terminals will be home to a triple camera module commanded by a 64-megapixel main lens. The front camera will be an 8-megapixel (7S) and 16-megapixel (7S Pro) sensor.

The standard model will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery, while the Pro model will house a larger 5,000mAh battery. To finish, the Pro model would enjoy a 165W ultra-fast charging technology, while the standard model will have a slower capacity (unknown at the moment).
